The Castle Inn is a public house situated on the summit of Edgehill in Banbury. Here on Sunday 23rd October 1642, King Charles I raised his standard and summoned his officers about him to prepare for the first major battles of the English Civil War.
This b&b is in a very unique building, known as the Round Tower, or Radway Tower and it is one of the most unusual pubs in the country. Here you will sleep in comfortable 4 poster beds in bedrooms situated in the Main Tower.
