"We want to put the Roebuck Inn back on the map as a pub used by local people and their families. And given the pub's location we are ideally situated for busy working people who want to have a quick lunch,” said Roebuck Inn licensee Nick Saul.
“I have four children of my own and know what goes into making a pub a welcoming place for people who want a quiet drink and families who come out for a meal. As a chef by trade I pride myself on making all my own sauces, pates and soup and where possible I will always try and source ingredients from local suppliers,” he said.
The pub offers an extensive menu including Steak & Ale Pie (made with Hook Norton ale of course), Grilled Salmon Steak and a selection of steaks. A lunchtime menu includes a selection of freshly prepared filled baguettes.
