The Albion Tavern

The Albion Tavern offers pub dining and a beer garden. It was acquired by the Hook Norton Brewery towards the end of the 19th century. Formerly known as the 'The Reservoir Tavern' due to the fact that in 1863, a local businessman started Chipping Norton's first public water supply on the site. The pub is located in Chipping Norton, which at 700ft, is the highest town in Oxfordshire and regarded as one of the "Gateways" to the Cotswolds. By 1816 the town had established the foundation of its textile industry using the latest technology of the industrial revolution.
