About the Butchers Arms Balscote
The Butchers Arms is a traditional village pub situated in Balscote, just 4 miles from Banbury. It is a cosy little pub, with a beautiful beer garden that takes in some of the best views of the picturesque village of Balscote.
We serve a range of Hooky Ales straight from the cask with a choice of Hooky Bitter, Dark and the monthly beer. There is a wide range of choice to suit any palate. As well a good beer we serve traditional home made pub grub such as Ham, Egg and Chips and Beef and Hooky Pie with a wonderful Sunday lunch (Bookings Only).
Alongside these we also have themed food nights with the food, drink and entertainment all coming from a particular country. We have had very successful Spanish and German events and we are hoping to have a Swedish evening with an Abba band in the near future.
On Sunday evenings there are traditional games available to play such as Dominoes, Crib and Chess and Aunt Sally is available to anyone over the Summer months.
