Greatworth is situated eight miles from Banbury in the depths of the Northamptonshire countryside.
Many buildings in the heart of the village are crafted from the local Northamptonshire grey stone, which is unique to the area.

The Inn, which is next to the Methodist Chapel, is a family pub that serves a wide range of mainly home-made meals and bar snacks from a choice of starters, meat, fish, specials and vegetarian menus - as well as a good selection of creative and traditional puddings.
Greatworth Park is on the site of a former RAF base, just outside the village.Although it is no longer in use, it provided a significant vantage point during WWII and locals say it marks the highest point between England and Siberia.
