About The Inn Greatworth
Mark and Anne are the Landlord and Lady of this pretty Oxfordshire pub. They plan to keep The Inn a traditional village local, serving a selection of Real Ales and home cooked food.
The pub has facilities for various games - Darts, Aunt Sally, Skittles, even Nintendo Wii! There is a big screen television which will be showing Sky Sports amongst other things.
The pub is child friendly and the couple hope to have a bouncy castle set up for the Summer. The kids can enjoy bouncing while mum and dad relax in the beautiful patio garden!
Many buildings in the heart of the village are crafted from the local Northamptonshire grey stone, which is unique to the area. Nearby is Greatworth Park, on the site of a former RAF base, although it is no longer in use for planes, it provided a significant vantage point during WWII and locals say it marks the highest point between England and Siberia.
