About the Three Conies Thorp Mandeville

Image of the bar areaSet amongst the rolling hillsides of rural Northamptonshire, The Three Conies is the perfect family pub with something for everyone to enjoy. It is located in the picturesque, untouched village of Thorpe Mandeville, just six miles North-East of the town of Banbury, made famous by the nursery rhyme.
Indeed, food is going to be a big feature of the pub with diners choosing to eat in either the two bar areas or in the beautiful high-ceilinged restaurant.

The small village has existed for many centuries; as has the Three Conies. Thorpe Mandeville is located on the important livestock drovers' road known as Banbury Lane and the pub dates from the 17th century, when it was a drovers’ inn providing overnight accommodation for the drovers and their stock who travelled this way.

The Three Conies has  a wonderful atmosphere in the beamed bar with an open fire at each end, a separate restaurant with vaulted ceiling and welcoming wood burner stove, a lovely patio to enjoy in the summer sunshine, beautiful scenery from the large garden, a choice of real ales and ample car parking.
